We walk the walk!
One of the unique features of Just Ideas is the aim of delivering effective, sustainable solutions that not only involve the participants fully, but that take into account wider social justice and environmental issues. Putting people first at all levels – within the organisation, the community, and globally. All resources used will be environmentally friendly and ethically responsible where possible.
- Travel: Bike, train or car-sharing where possible
- Electricity: The office uses electricity from 100% renewable resources, and uses energy saving systems as far as possible.
- Financial services: Just Ideas uses a bank and insurance provider with a strong ethical policy.
- Stationery: Recycled and ethically sourced
- Refreshments: Fairtrade or locally produced.
Every opportunity will be taken to inform clients of opportunities available to them to decrease any negative impact of their work on the wider environment. Just Ideas believes that the small extra monetary cost of operating in this manner is worth paying, set against the real costs of not taking people and the environment into account.
