International Climate Challenge

The Brief:

Working with Interclimate Network to develop and deliver the International Climate Challenge, engaging young people in Kenya, India and England in learning about and taking action on climate change.

Engaging Just Ideas:

Just Ideas is part of the UK team delivering this Interclimate Network project, using participatory approaches to work with schools and youth clubs as well as developing resources for the project. The International Climate Challenge draws uniquely on the perspective of young people in India and Kenya as well as in the UK.

The Outcome:

Just Ideas has worked with project partners and a range of schools supporting actions that counter climate change. Achievments of the first year of the project culminated in an inspiring Change-Makers' conference in July 2009 and a poster resource that shares fun approaches for youth leaders in tackling climate change issues.
