Evaluation

‘Effective evaluation leads to change, improvement and learning.’
Richard Usher, Just Ideas

Just Ideas brings a creative and participatory approach to project evaluation. We employ a wide range of evaluation methodologies, designed to engage with a maximum number of different stakeholders in a meaningful way. This will range from participatory focus groups, individual interviews, email interviews, on-line fora or focus groups to gather information using verbal, written and visual activities. Just Ideas works on all aspects of project and programme evaluation from development work through to report and dissemination. Some examples of our work:

  • Fashioning an Ethical Industry – we are currently undertaking this DFID funded project evaluation for Labour behind the Label
  • Sust! Evaluation: Evaluating the impact of the Milton Keynes Global Centre’s SUST! Project, which involved getting business and community sector working together to promote ethical trade in Milton Keynes.
  • Fairtrade Foundation Fairtrade Schools external evaluation.
  • TogetherTV evaluation: Evaluating the success of this European Union funded project, delivered by Christian Aid and Trocaire, developing and distributing short films telling the stories of everyday lives of people around the world.
  • Evaluation of Reading Voluntary Action’s Employee Volunteering scheme: the report from this evaluation contributed to the development of further Employee Volunteering programmes
