Commissioning Improvement Programme
The Brief:
To work with IVAR to address barriers to commissioning between the public sector and the voluntary and community sector, designing and delivering a locally-tailored Commissioning Improvement Programme to the areas that would most benefit from it.
Engaging Just Ideas:
Following her work with IVAR’s Partnership Improvement Programme, Helen was asked to help devise the programme. She was then part of a small team of 6 facilitators working in 12 areas of UK deemed most at risk from the recession. Helen worked in Walsall, Dudley, Calderdale, Dacorum, Doncaster, Bradford and Bournemouth Poole and Dorset. This work is ongoing, with the final review sessions to have finished by the end of 2010.
